We are a  Science, Math, and Technology Magnet, serving approximately 525 students in the Muscogee County School District, Columbus, Georgia.

We have achieved the Distinguished status in Title I for the fifth year in a row and  received the 2004 and 2007 "No Excuses School" from the Georgia Public Policy Foundation.

In 2007, we were ranked 105 of all elementary schools in the state of Georgia by the GPPF .

Dimon is one of 35 elementary schools in the Muscogee County School District.
